Studio 409, a locally owned wig salon, was founded by Jack Morlan who has been in the hair industry for over 48 years. With a dedication to helping those with hair loss, particularly cancer patients, Morlan has specialized in fitting wigs for these individuals for the past 30+ years. Morlan's expertise and commitment to his clients' well-being have not gone unnoticed. Studio 409 has received multiple accolades and recognition from organizations such as "Look Good Feel Good," KCCI, WHO, and others. These accolades acknowledge Morlan's outstanding work in the community and his positive impact on the lives of those facing hair loss challenges. Jack Morlan, initially a stylist, became a specialist in hair loss and wig fitting after his sister's cancer diagnosis. His sister came to him and told him these words "I have cancer". At the time she was working as a nurse and said to Jack "You need to start doing wigs for women because we have no one here to turn to."  Recognizing the lack of resources for women in need of wigs, Jack's compassion drove him to research and learn about fitting wigs for cancer patients.  Jack has retired in 2024 and the salon is now Owned by Katy along with a team of dedicated individuals like Beth, Tricia, and Taylor, Jack still makes appearances to the salon if you're lucky to catch him. Studio 409 provides a supportive environment for clients facing hair loss. Their commitment to making a positive impact has established the salon as a trusted resource in the community.
